Where
can I purchase the products recommended for my skin?
At
Skin Therapy in Jamison Forsyth Salon at 2928 Oak Lawn Ave in
Dallas TX.
What is the difference between clinical skin care, medically
directed facilities and the skin care products I buy at the
drug store?
It's
largely in the delivery system. Our treatments work on the
cellular level unlike the topical products you buy at the
drugstore which only handle the top layer of the skin, and
rarely possess the concentrations needed to affect your skin
on a deep level. Our clinical treatments and products are
all about turning the skin cells over at a rapid rate in order
to produce new collagen which tightens, tones and addresses
any irregularities on the epidermis. Surface problems such
as hyper-pigmentation, broken capillaries and acne can be
resolved at last. As a clinical skin care provider, we are
here to make a difference, to educate and to help maintain,
healthy skin for a lifetime. And of course we never forget
why we are here to make you happy!
Can
you design a skin care regimen that I can follow at home?
That's
part of our standard followup care. We'll advise you on exactly
how to care for your skin based on its unique properties.
But the 2 most important things you can do right now are use
good products including a cleanser and sunblock! Once we assess
your skin, there are specific trouble shooters for those who
need them, but we do not go there unless necessary.
I
have friends who are interested in skin care. If I refer them
to Skin Therapy will I receive a benefit?
Oh,
yes! You will become a VIP. As a VIP, you get free treatments
and you will be on special price program. Ask us for more
details the next time you come in. Whenever you refer a patient,
be sure to tell them to inform us when making the appointment.
What’s
the number one thing I can do to maintain my skin?
It's
so critical to maintain what you have invested in! Good products
such as cleanser and sunblock are essential, as we've said
before. At Skin Therapy, it is not about selling products
but rather to treat and educate patients on skin care.
How
long do sessions typically last so I can schedule my appointments?
It
depends on what services you have purchased, but typically
each session last from 30 minutes to an hour and appointments
can be scheduled every other week. It's easiest to book most
of your appointments at one time, if possible. You can do
it with our assistant at the front desk after your next treatment.
We do ask that if you must cancel an appointment that you
give us the courtesy of at least 24 hours notice.
Can
I come in for just one treatment or is it better to buy them
in packages?
With
one treatment you can see the difference, but you need at
least 5 treatments to really see great results! That's why
we always offer great deals when you buy them in packages.
We try to make skin care affordable for everyone.
